The continent where safaris originated, the continent of mesmerizing landscapes, and the continent that is still home to the big five and so many interesting smaller species. If you visit Africa once, you get addicted to the feeling of being alive, the red sand between your toes, and the last great wildernesses left on the planet.

Since the continent is so vast and the options for African safaris are truly limitless, we offer tailor-made trips perfectly designed to your personal wishes and needs. Some people would love to immerse themselves in the wild and cook their own food in unfenced bush camps surrounded by wild animals, while a luxurious lodging experience with private safaris might be more suitable for others.

We have one of the best Africa agents on the planet. Mark Kaptein is a large carnivore scientist who has been working in Africa for years. Mark has extensive experience with cheetahs, leopards, and lions. He is FGASA qualified and has extensive experience in guiding from the vehicle and on foot.

Anything is possible, seeing hundreds of elephants from a boat in Chobe, going birding for Shoebill in Zambia, or immersing yourself in the secret life of Africa’s large carnivores. You could also opt for the more secretive species and go on a nocturnal quest to look for black-footed cats and aardvarks. Like we said before, the possibilities are limitless. What we will ask of you if you are interested in a private trip to Africa, is to fill out a questionnaire of most wanted species, the type of travel (luxurious, back to basic, adventurous, etc.), and a budget. After you have filled in the questionnaire, we can give a recommendation for the perfect trip for you. If you like our suggestions, we can proceed with the bookings; if not, then no hard feelings, and we will suggest something else.

This kind of trip is different from all the other products on the market because it is intimate, adventurous, and tailored towards your wishes. See our photo gallery of some of our own experiences in Africa, all photos were taken by Mark Kaptein or Jillian Groeneveld who went to Africa with Mark for three weeks. His special interests were cheetahs and the more elusive species. Within 3 weeks in Botswana and SA, he managed to see 30 different cheetahs, 9 aardvarks, servals, caracals, brown hyenas, and much, much more.

At some specific locations we can also offer guided walks led by FGASA qualified guides.
